Adventure is calling! Pack 24 is thrilled to return to the legendary Eagle Cave, where Scouts will explore Wisconsin’s largest onyx cave and experience a camping trip unlike any other. Get ready for a weekend filled with fun, discovery, and lasting memories.

🕳️ What’s Waiting Underground?
Get ready to explore over 3,000 feet of winding passageways across four levels of natural wonder. Eagle Cave is so vast, even seasoned Scouts haven’t seen it all in one weekend! And the adventure doesn’t stop there; activities include:
- 🔍 Cave scavenger hunt and fossil discovery
- 🎲 Bingo Night
- 🔥 Community Campfire with s’mores kits available
- 🥾 Golden Nugget Trail Competition
- 🛌 And of course, sleeping in the cave itself!
👨👩👧👦 Who Can Join?
This trip is ideal for 2nd to 5th-grade students, but all of our adventurous Pack 24 Cub Scouts are welcome. Parents know their Scouts best, so feel free to register younger adventurers if they’re ready for the challenge!
💰 Cost & Registration
- $40 per registered Scout, and $80 per parent/guardian/sibling
- Includes hearty meals, cave access, and all activities
- Registration closes when all 40 spots are filled — don’t wait and miss out!
- Once all 40 spots are filled, additional registrations will be placed on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available.
🏕️ Sleeping Arrangements
We’ll be camping on a hard surface near the cave entrance, where space is limited, and the ceiling is low. You may bring:
- A 2-person tent for 2 people
- A 4-person tent for 3 – 4 people
Note: Larger tents will need to be taken down due to space constraints and to allow all guests the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny of the cave.
Earplugs and sleep masks are highly recommended — the lights stay on and sound travels!
🛡️ Safeguarding Youth Protection Requirement
Due to the overnight sleeping arrangements at Eagle Cave, all adults attending must complete Safeguarding Youth Training through my.scouting.org.
If you have previously completed Safeguarding Youth Training and it is still current, you may complete the Safeguarding Youth Refresher course.
Once your training is complete, please email your certificate to pack24riverside@gmail.com.
🏥Medical Forms
A current Annual Health and Medical Record is required for everyone attending the trip. Please complete the form for everyone in your party and submit it to your Den Leader at your next den or pack meeting.

Eagle Cave is located in Blue River, WI, about 4 hours west of Riverside. We can help coordinate carpools as the date approaches.
